President’s Report for Spring 2010, Just to introduce myself. I am Mark Porter your new AFGC President. I have a family of five, all of which are active members of our club. This will be my third year as President. I feel this year is going to be the most exciting one! I would like to start and say thank you to last years board, lead by Nathan Anderson. You guys did an awesome job! Thank you for laying down the ground work for this year’s Executive. I also want to thank you the membership, for the awesome turn out at our recent AGM. We had a packed house! Thank you very much for all your support. Our goal this year is to get our range expansion and renovations started. Our board of executive is united and ready to take this project on. We have in place a “New Range Committee” which will be able to stream line the progression of this project. I would like to thank all our volunteers for stepping up and taking on this role. I trust we’ll see the fruits of your labors. I also want to put out a reminder of our 3rd Annual AFGC Open House this July. This is an awesome event, one you don’t want to miss! There will be lots of activities offered. This is a great way to reach out to your friends, to get them involved in the shooting and fishing sports we love.
